Hi. My name is Steena and this is my first post. I am not a motivator or anything but just a normal teen trying to spread some hope. I believe in giving. I am not a money maker for now, so the best giving i can do is my words.
Life doesn't come with instructions. YES, I agree. Although, there are some things that everyone needs to know about the society no matter of what age they are. You might be a teen now or maybe even a 40 year old man. Read it.
1- Ignore what the society thinks.
Yes, I do know that most of them will already know this but, how many of us actually ignore it? Statistics prove that most of the population live to 'impress' others. We all do this unknowingly. TRUST ME! I've been through it. The real way to do the 'ignoring' part isn't by changing yourself in order to fit in. It is by showing your back on them and live according to what makes YOU comfortable. At least you're being real in front of everyone.
2- Smile.
It's an exercise right?! But it is also a motivator. Look in the mirror everyday and smile. It is contagious, so spread it. Smile in front of your loved ones, it makes them smile too. Even through your hardest times, smile. It is hard, but not impossible.
3- Wear clothes that bring up your confidence.
Dressing is a major part of your confidence boost. If you are wearing sweatshirt and going to your workplace, that is probably going to get you fired. By confidence, I don't mean getting into your comfort zone.. but that doesn't mean that you've to get out of your comfort zone either. Just wear clothes that bring up your look and colours that make you look bright.. and NO! Not neon colours. I meant something that you are comfortable in wearing as well as look elegant.
4- Use the good old breathing method.
Breathe in....... Breath out........ (BIBO)
It helps. It is the perfect way to calm yourself at times of stress. Have an exam? Use the BIBO. Have a heavy workload? Use the BIBO. Make sure to stretch your arms and legs and give them some relief as well.
5- Always believe in yourself.
I think I don't have to elaborate much on this. This one is hard. But it is worth believing yourself. It makes everything so much easier. Most importantly, it is worth because at the end, you will have no one but yourselves to face the giants.
All the best.
Stay tuned for more posts and leave your comments as well.
